How do I get a cleaning quote?
A straight answer from a local Eurobodalla cleaner.
The quickest way to get a quote
Getting a cleaning quote from Capital Coastal Cleaning is simple, and you've a few ways to do it. The fastest is to ring Tyson straight on 0479 184 498. A quick chat usually tells us most of what we need to know, and for a lot of jobs we can give you a price on the spot or very close to it. If you'd rather not call, you can send a message or an email with a few details about the job, and one of the team (Tyson, Shanice or Lisa) will get back to you, usually the same day. We're open 7 days, so weekends are fine too.
Either way, there's no charge for a quote and no obligation. We're a local Batemans Bay business, Indigenous-owned and started here in 2023, so we know the Eurobodalla coast from Durras down to Moruya. When you tell us where you're, we already have a fair idea of access, parking and what a job like yours normally involves on this stretch of coast.
What we need to know to price it
A good quote starts with a clear picture of the job. The more you can tell us up front, the tighter and more accurate the price will be. For most jobs the useful details are the property type (house, unit, office, holiday let), the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and roughly how big the place is. If it's carpeted, tiled, timber or a mix, let us know, and whether there are stairs.
It also helps to know what kind of clean you're after. A regular ongoing tidy is a different job to a one-off deep clean, and an end of lease bond clean is different again. Tell us the why behind it: are you moving out, getting a rental ready for the next guests, recovering after a renovation, or just want a hand keeping on top of things week to week. For carpet cleaning, the number and size of rooms matters, plus any stains or pet areas we should treat.
If there's anything unusual, mention it. Heavy build-up, mould in a bathroom, oven and rangehood that haven't been touched in a while, a yard that has got away on you, or rubbish that needs hauling away. None of that scares us off, but knowing about it means the price we quote is the price you pay, with no surprises on the day.
Do you need to visit, or can it be done over the phone
It depends on the job. Plenty of quotes we can sort over the phone or by message, especially regular home cleans, standard bond cleans on a place we can picture, carpet cleaning, and window work. If we've enough detail, there's no need for anyone to come out, and you save the wait.
For bigger or more involved work, an on-site look is the honest way to do it. Commercial and office contracts, facility and council jobs, builders cleans after a renovation or new build, large yards, and anything where access or condition is hard to judge from a description, we'd rather come and see it. A short walk-through means we quote the real job in front of us, not a guess. On-site quotes around the Bay and the wider Eurobodalla are free, and we'll work around your hours.
Fixed price or by the hour, whatever is fairest
One thing worth knowing before you ask anyone for a quote: we keep it simple and tell you up front how a job will be charged. Some work we quote at a fixed price, so you know the total before we start. A lot of our work, like regular and general cleaning, we charge by the hour at $60 an hour plus GST, which is often the fairest way because you only pay for the time the job actually takes.
Each suits a different job. A fixed price is great for a one-off with a clear scope, like an end of lease clean, where you want the total locked in before we start. An hourly rate is fairer for ongoing or open-ended work, because a tidy week means a quicker, cheaper visit and you are never paying for time we did not spend. We will tell you which way we would price your job and why, so you can budget properly, whether you're a household watching the weekly spend, a real estate agent turning over a rental, or a business managing a cleaning contract.
The only time a price would change after we've quoted is if the actual job is meaningfully different to what was described, for example a 'quick tidy' that turns out to be months of build-up, or extra rooms that weren't mentioned. In that case we talk to you first and agree on it before we carry on. We never just add it to the bill.
A rough idea of pricing before you call
We know people like a ballpark before they pick up the phone, so here's an honest one. For end of lease bond cleans, we quote a fixed price by the number of bedrooms, all plus GST: a one bedroom is $450 to $550, a two bedroom $500 to $600, a three bedroom $600 to $750, and a four bedroom $700 to $850. Where you land in that range comes down to condition and what's included, things like carpet cleaning, oven and rangehood, windows and the state the place is left in. Our bond cleans are done to the REINSW exit standard and come with a bond-back guarantee, which is the bit tenants and agents actually care about.
Carpet cleaning is a flat $50 per room plus GST, however many rooms you've, with stairs, hallways and stubborn stains treated as part of the job. When carpet is included in an end of lease clean there's no minimum, and a standalone carpet job has a 2 hour minimum ($120 plus GST). Combine a bond clean with carpet and we'll package it sensibly rather than charging both as if they were separate visits.
For everything else, regular home cleans, window cleaning, lawn and yard work, rubbish removal, office and commercial, NDIS and home care package cleaning, facility and council work, builders cleans, the fairest thing is to give us the details and let us quote it properly. Coastal living adds its own wrinkles too. Salt and sand off the water work into glass, tracks and outdoor areas faster than they do inland, and holiday lets and rentals often need a quick, reliable turnaround between guests. We factor all of that into the price rather than pretending every job is the same.
What happens after you accept the quote
Once you're happy with the price, we lock in a day and time that suits you. We'll confirm what's included so we're both clear, and for bond cleans we'll go over the exit standard checklist so you know exactly what the agent will be looking for. You don't need to supply anything. We bring our own gear and use low-tox products, which is better for kids, pets, asthma and anyone sensitive to harsh chemicals, and frankly better for the coast we all live on.
Our team is police-checked and the business is fully insured, so whether it's your home, an office, an NDIS client or a council facility, the right people and the right cover are in place. We hold a 5.0 rating across 110 Google reviews, and the way we keep it there's by quoting honestly and then doing what we said we'd.
