Police-checked team
Every cleaner on our team is police-checked, important for work in homes, NDIS and home care, and council facilities.
Who we are and why you can trust us in your home, business or facility.
When you book Capital Coastal Cleaning, every person who comes through your door has a current national police check. We mention this first because it matters more than people realise. A cleaner spends time in your home or workplace when you're often not there, near your belongings, your keys and sometimes your family. Trusting a stranger with that's a big ask, so we make sure the people we send are checked, not just hired.
For an ordinary home clean it's simple reassurance. For other work it's closer to a requirement. NDIS participants and their families are letting someone into a space where they may be vulnerable. Home Care Package clients are often older folks living on their own. Council and facility sites often sit inside child-safe, school or community settings where a clearance is expected. We keep our checks current so whoever turns up, whether it is Tyson, Shanice, Lisa or Tash, has already cleared that bar.
We're happy to show you the paperwork. If you want to see a police check before a cleaner starts in your home or on your site, just ask when you book. We would rather you ask and feel sure than wonder about it later.
We carry public liability insurance for a simple reason. Cleaning involves water, chemicals, ladders, heavy gear and other people's property, and even careful people have accidents. If something gets damaged while we're working, the cover is there so it gets sorted properly rather than turning into an argument about who pays.
This protects you as much as it protects us. A homeowner doesn't want a broken benchtop becoming their problem because the cleaner was uninsured. A property manager handing us an end of lease job needs to know the work is backed. An office, council or facility almost always asks for a certificate of currency before they let a contractor on site, and we can provide ours. No cleaner worth booking should be cagey about whether they're actually covered.
Capital Coastal Cleaning started in 2023 and is run by its owner, Tyson. That changes how the work gets done. When the person who owns the business is also one of the people cleaning and answering the phone, standards don't get lost down a chain of managers. If something isn't right, you're talking to the person who can actually fix it, not a call centre in another state.
We're properly local. We live and work on the Eurobodalla coast and cover it from Durras in the north down through Batemans Bay and out to Moruya. We know the streets, the holiday-let turnover and the bond inspections the local agents run. Being small and owner-run is why we can be flexible too. We're open seven days, we can work around a settlement date or a move-out, and we fit a regular clean to a real household. The team is Tyson, Shanice, Lisa and Tash, the same names you'll see in our 5.0 Google reviews, earned one job at a time.
We're an Indigenous-owned business, and we say it plainly because it's part of who we're. It shapes how we treat people: with respect, with straight talk, and with a genuine care for the community we're part of rather than just the suburb we're billing.
For some of our clients, being Indigenous-owned matters when they're choosing who to support, and that's welcome. Organisations, councils and providers with their own reciprocal or supplier commitments are often looking for local Indigenous-owned businesses to work with, and we're one. For other clients it makes no difference to why they hired us, and that's fine too. What it doesn't change is the bar for the work. The clean is the clean, done well, every time, for everyone.
A lot of cleaners can mop a floor. Fewer can hand a plan manager or a package provider an invoice that goes through without a phone call and a fuss. We set our paperwork up so the people who pay on your behalf get what they need the first time, with the dates, the support description, the agreed scope and our details laid out clearly.
For NDIS, this suits self-managed and plan-managed participants. We invoice your plan manager directly where that's how you're set up, and we describe the work as domestic assistance so it sits cleanly against your plan. To be honest, we aren't a registered provider through the agency, so agency-managed plans generally can't use us, and we'll tell you that up front rather than after the work is done.
For Home Care Packages we work with the providers our clients are already with, including My Home Care and Goodwin, and we bill in the format they expect so your coordinator isn't chasing us for missing details. If your provider wants the invoice laid out a particular way, tell us and we'll match it.
When you book an end of lease clean with us, we clean to the REINSW exit standard, which is the benchmark the agents around here actually inspect against. We're cleaning to pass the inspection, not just to look tidy, and there's a real difference between the two.
Our guarantee is simple. If the agent or landlord knocks back the clean on something we were responsible for, we come back and put it right at no extra charge, within 72 hours of you letting us know. You don't pay twice and you don't have to argue the point. We just fix it. That's why property managers along the coast are comfortable sending tenants to us.
We'll be straight about what it covers. It's for the cleaning, not damage, repairs, garden overhaul beyond what was quoted, or anything outside the agreed scope, and it assumes the place is empty with the utilities still on. We put all of that in the written quote before we start, so there are no surprises for you or the agent.
Before any job starts you get a clear written quote, and that number is what you pay. For a set job like a bond clean that's a fixed price; for ongoing work like regular cleaning it's our hourly rate, which is the fairest way since you only pay for the time it actually takes. Either way we agree it with you first, and we don't quietly hand you a bigger bill at the end. If we quote it, we wear it.
It helps to know roughly where things land. A bond clean is a fixed price by the size of the place plus GST: 450 to 550 dollars for a one bedroom, 500 to 600 for a two bedroom, 600 to 750 for a three bedroom and 700 to 850 for a four bedroom, with the exact figure depending on the state of the place. Carpet cleaning is 50 dollars per room plus GST, and when it's part of an end of lease clean there's no minimum, while a standalone carpet job has a two hour minimum (120 dollars plus GST). Regular home cleaning is 60 dollars an hour plus GST with a two hour minimum (120 dollars plus GST), or we can set a fixed price per visit. Offices, facility and council work, NDIS and Home Care Package cleaning are quoted to the scope or the plan, because no two of those are the same. Honest pricing up front is the same idea as the rest of this page: tell people the truth, show them the proof, and let the work speak for itself.
We've kept this page honest on purpose. Rather than printing certificate numbers and a registration story that you've no easy way to check, we'd rather show you the real documents when you book. Our police checks and our certificate of currency for public liability are available on request, and we hand them over without making a thing of it.
So if you're an agent vetting a contractor, a plan manager confirming a provider, a council officer ticking compliance boxes, or simply a homeowner who likes to be sure, ask us. Give Tyson a call on 0479 184 498 and tell us what you need to see. A cleaner who is genuinely checked, insured and local has nothing to hide, and we don't.
