Lawn and yard work that fits how Batemans Bay properties actually get used
Capital Coastal Cleaning is based right here in Batemans Bay, and the yards we look after are split fairly cleanly between two worlds. There are the family homes up behind the CBD toward Hanging Rock, where the lawn is just part of keeping the place nice. And there are the holiday lets and rentals down near the water and along Beach Road, where the yard has to be guest-ready by the time someone checks in. We mow, edge, whipper-snip, blow down the hard surfaces and cart the green waste away, and we plan the work around which of those two worlds your place sits in.
Owner Tyson started the business in 2023 and still runs the jobs alongside Shanice and Lisa, so when we say we know the Bay, we mean we're out in these streets most days of the week. We're police-checked and fully insured, we're open seven days, and we hold a 5.0 rating from 110 Google reviews. For a lot of our customers, the lawn and yard tidy slots in right next to the indoor clean we're already doing, which is where it really earns its keep around here.
Why the Beach Road and Promenade units need a different approach
The units and townhouses along Beach Road and around the Promenade are some of the most-cleaned addresses on our books, and a fair share of them are rentals or holiday lets with small, shared or strata-style yards. There's rarely a big lawn to deal with on these. It's more about edging the strips along paths and driveways, whipper-snipping the bits a mower can't reach around bin bays and fence lines, and blowing the sandy grit and clippings off the entry and the communal walkways so the place looks cared for from the street.
Because these are right by the water on the Clyde River and the bay, you also get salt and sand tracked across the courtyards and balconies, and lawn clippings have a habit of sticking to damp, salty pavers. So the blow-down on these jobs matters as much as the cut. We finish by clearing the hard surfaces properly rather than leaving green waste to get walked back inside, which is the last thing you want before a guest arrives or an agent inspects.
Family homes behind the CBD toward Hanging Rock
Up in the streets behind town heading toward Hanging Rock, the yards are bigger and the work is more like classic lawn care. These are the family places where we already do a lot of regular and end of lease cleaning, so adding a fortnightly or monthly mow, edge and whipper-snip is an easy extra to bolt on. We keep the lawn at a sensible height for the season, edge the paths and the driveway so the lines are crisp, snip back the overgrowth along fences and around the clothesline and shed, then blow the paths and the front step clean.
Green waste doesn't stay behind. We bag and remove the clippings and the trimmings so you aren't left with a pile going off in the corner or filling your own bin for a fortnight. For busy households up this way, the whole point is coming home to a yard that's sorted without having to find a free Saturday to do it themselves.
Pairing the yard with a holiday-let changeover
With so many short-stays near the water, fast guest changeovers are a big part of our week in the Bay, and the outside of the property is the first thing a guest sees before they have even opened the door. A holiday let can have a spotless interior, but if the front lawn is shaggy and there are clippings and seed heads blown across the entry, the photos and the arrival both suffer. So when we're doing a changeover, we line the yard tidy up to land in the same visit.
That usually means a quick mow and edge, a whipper-snip around the courtyard or pool fence, and a thorough blow-down of the deck, the path and the driveway so there's no sand or grass underfoot when guests pull up. Being based in the Bay, we're usually only minutes away, so we can fit the outside tidy into the tight window between one guest checking out and the next checking in without it blowing out the changeover.
Pre-sale and pre-inspection tidy-ups, and the end of lease yard
Plenty of our Batemans Bay work is timed around an inspection or a sale, and the yard counts for both. For a pre-sale tidy we get the lawn cut, the edges sharp and every hard surface blown clean so the place presents well in the listing photos and at the open home. For a routine rental inspection, a fresh mow and a clear of the green waste is often the difference between a clean report and a please-attend-to-the-yard note from the agent.
When the yard is part of an end of lease, we treat it the same way we treat the inside. Our exit cleans are done to the REINSW exit standard and carry a bond-back guarantee, so if the managing agent flags the cleaning, we come back and re-clean for free within 72 hours. The busy rental market here means we do a lot of these exit jobs, and getting the lawn, edges and green waste sorted at the same time as the indoor bond clean keeps the whole handover on one booking and one timeline.
Low-tox, local, and easy to book alongside the clean
We use low-tox products inside, and the same care carries outside. We aren't going to drench your beds in harsh chemicals or leave a mess for the neighbours. The lawn and yard service is mowing, edging, whipper-snipping, a proper blow-down and green waste removed, kept simple and done well, and it pairs naturally with the changeovers, regular cleans and end of lease work we already do across the Bay.
We cover Batemans Bay and the whole Eurobodalla coast from Durras down to Moruya, but the Bay is home base, which is why we can be quick here when a midday handover or a last-minute inspection comes up. If you want the yard handled as a one-off before a sale, on a regular cycle for the family home, or bundled into a holiday-let or exit clean, give us a call on 0479 184 498 and we'll sort it.
