Steady work for the people who stay all year
Malua Bay is known as a holiday spot, heavy on rentals and second homes around the beach and the bowlo, so the people who live here all year round can feel a bit lost in the shuffle. We're an Indigenous-owned local team based up the road in Batemans Bay, and a good part of our Malua Bay work is the steady, week-in week-out kind for permanent residents who have their domestic assistance funded through an NDIS plan.
If you live in one of the permanent homes set back from Malua Bay Beach rather than a short-stay let, this is exactly the sort of cleaning we mean. Not a one-off guest changeover, but a regular clean of your own home that fits your support plan, run to the same routine week in, week out.
We take self-managed and plan-managed participants. We aren't an NDIS-registered provider, so we can't invoice the NDIA directly, and agency-managed (NDIA-managed) plans generally need registered providers. If that's you, we likely aren't the right fit, and we'll tell you that up front rather than waste your time.
Full-force salt air off Pretty Point
Living near the surf beach and Pretty Point, you cop the full force of the salt air, and that changes what a domestic assistance clean actually needs to cover. Shower screens and window glass fog and pit far faster here than they would a few streets inland, and the aluminium tracks collect a salty grit that needs a proper wipe, not a quick pass.
The other constant in a Malua Bay home is sand. It walks in on feet and towels straight off the beach and ends up through the whole house, so floors get serious attention on every visit. For a participant who finds vacuuming and mopping hard on the body, that's often the single most useful part of the clean, and we build the visit around it.
We use low-tox products throughout. If you've sensitivities, breathing trouble or just don't want a strong chemical smell lingering in a closed-up coastal house, tell us and we'll keep it gentle.
Some want the lot, some just the heavy jobs
Most of our NDIS domestic assistance in Malua Bay is the ordinary household stuff that keeps a place liveable. Kitchen benches and the stovetop, the bathroom and toilet, dusting and surfaces, floors vacuumed and mopped, bins out, and a general tidy and reset of the living areas.
We don't pretend every plan is the same. Some people want the lot done fortnightly, others just want the heavy jobs they can't manage themselves while they handle the lighter bits. We sort out exactly what your plan funds and what you want done before we start, and we stick to it.
Because the salt and sand never let up here, glass and floors tend to be the priorities people ask us to keep on top of, and we're happy to weight the visit that way.
Three people, checked and insured, in a quiet pocket
We're a small team, just Tyson, Shanice and Lisa, and we keep it that way on purpose. For domestic assistance it means nothing about your clean lives in some corporate system, it lives with the three people who actually do the work, so the visit never drifts from what you agreed.
That counts for a lot when someone is in your home regularly. We learn where things go, what you're particular about, and what you'd rather we leave alone. Everyone at your door is police-checked, holding a Working With Children Check and fully insured, which matters in a quieter beachside pocket where a lot of the houses around you sit empty between holiday bookings.
We have a 5.0 rating across more than a hundred Google reviews, and that's built on turning up when we say we will and doing the same good job each time.
The price we agree is the price you see
Whether you're self-managing or working through a plan manager, the paperwork has to be clean. We give you a clear invoice that matches Assistance with Daily Life (household tasks) in your plan, with the date, the hours and what was done spelled out, so you or your plan manager can pay it without chasing us for detail. Cleaning is our standard $60 an hour plus GST, itemised on the invoice.
If your plan manager needs the invoice laid out a particular way or sent to a specific address, just let us know and we'll set it up like that from the first job. We would rather get it right at the start than have a payment held up.
No pretending to be something we're not, and no surprises on the bill. The price we agree is the price you see.
Middle of our patch, open seven days
We're open seven days and run the whole Eurobodalla coast from Durras down to Moruya, so Malua Bay sits comfortably in the middle of our patch. We aren't driving in from out of town for your clean, we're already working up and down this stretch.
If a regular slot suits you, we can lock in a recurring day and time. If your week is less predictable, that's fine too, we'll work around appointments and the days you've support around you. Give us a call on 0479 184 498 and we'll talk through what your plan covers and how we can help.
