Office cleaning at the river mouth
Moruya Heads is where the Moruya River meets the sea, and the businesses out here reflect that. It isn't a big commercial strip like Vulcan Street back in Moruya town. Out at the Heads you've got smaller operations: a holiday-let manager working from a converted front room, a physio or massage room near the beach, a cafe or kiosk reception, a real estate office handling the Bengello Beach rentals, the odd tradie running the books from a back office. Capital Coastal Cleaning handles the cleaning side for these places so the people running them can get on with the season.
We're an Indigenous-owned local team, started in 2023 by Tyson, and we run with a small crew (Tyson, Shanice and Lisa). That matters for a place like the Heads, because you tend to see the same faces. The person cleaning your reception this week is the same one back next week, not a roster of strangers. We're police-checked, fully insured, and we use low-tox products, which counts for a lot in a small treatment room or a cafe where food's around.
Salt and sand are the real enemy out here
Toragy Point and Bengello Beach are right on your doorstep, and that's lovely for the view but hard on a workplace. The same salt spray and sandy feet that wear out the beach houses get walked straight into your shopfront and your reception. Glass doors fog up with a salt film, the aluminium frames pit, and the entry mat fills with sand by lunchtime. A generic office clean ignores all that. We don't.
So when we do an office out at the Heads, the front-of-house gets the attention first. We detail the glass on the entry door and the front windows, wipe down the frames and tracks where the salt collects, and give the entry floor and mat a proper going-over because that's where the sand lands. Reception is the first thing a client or a guest sees, and at the Heads it's the part that grimes up fastest. Desks, counters, screens and the waiting-area seating get done as a matter of course.
Built around the holiday-let season
A fair slice of the business at Moruya Heads runs on holiday lets and the summer crowd heading to Bengello Beach. The agents and managers who handle those changeovers work hardest exactly when everyone else is on holiday. We clean their offices and reception areas around that rhythm, not against it.
If your front counter is flat out with key handovers and check-ins over summer, we'll work after hours so the place is reset and clean before the doors open. If you'd rather we're in during the day so someone's always on site, that works too. We do the bins, the kitchen or kitchenette, the bathrooms, the desks, the floors and the glass either way. The point is your reception looks sorted when a guest or an owner walks in, even in the middle of the January rush.
Kitchens, bathrooms and bins done properly
The unglamorous part of office cleaning is the part people notice when it slips. A staff kitchenette that smells, a client bathroom with watermarks on the mirror, a bin that didn't get emptied before a long weekend. Out at the Heads, where a lot of these offices are small and the same few people use them all day, that stuff shows up quick.
We empty and reline the bins, wipe down the kitchen benches, the sink, the front of the cupboards and the microwave, and we keep the bathrooms genuinely clean: toilet, basin, mirror, floor, and a restock of what you leave out. Hard floors get vacuumed and mopped, carpet gets vacuumed, and if the carpet's taken a beating from a season of sandy foot traffic we can talk about a carpet clean to bring it back. The salt and grit at the Heads is murder on carpet over time, so it's worth staying on top of.
One trip with Moruya town
We cover Moruya Heads on the same run as Moruya town, so getting a cleaner out to the Heads isn't the production it might be for a crew based further off. That makes a regular weekly or fortnightly office clean easy to lock in, and it means if you need an extra visit before a big day (an inspection, an owners' meeting, a busy changeover weekend) we can usually fit it in while we're already down that way.
We're open seven days, which suits the businesses out here that don't keep regular Monday-to-Friday hours. The cafe trades the weekend, the holiday-let office is busiest Saturday at changeover, and we can clean around all of it. Phone is 0479 184 498 if you want to sort out a regular slot.
Why local businesses out here use us
We're a Batemans Bay business that's spent the last couple of years working the whole Eurobodalla coast from Durras down to Moruya, so we know what a beachside workplace at the Heads actually needs versus a dry office in a sealed building inland. We've got a 5.0 rating from 110 Google reviews, and a lot of that comes from turning up when we say we'll and doing the same job every time.
Whether it's a single treatment room near Bengello Beach, a shopfront, a real estate reception or a professional suite, we'll set up a clean that fits how you actually work. No long lock-in needed to give it a go, just a tidy, presentable workplace every visit so you can focus on your own customers.
